The Forest Room

I love this earth, it’s odors permeating my memory, I smell its bushes, it’s humid foliage and the often snow powdered clearings. The tall trees that seem to hold and embrace the dark sky, then that sun sprinkle’s gold dust on its branches and twigs, it is an infinite hope of an earth of peace and love. Follow me, I am entering the forest room.

Lise St-Cyr’s art

She is guided by emotions, intuition, and personal experiences

Her use of earthy tones and organic shapes suggests a connection to the natural world.

The interplay of light, color, and textures : The muted color palette and sweeping lines might be influenced by Canada’s landscapes and nature.

Inspired by the works of Quebecois artists, such as Paul-Émile Borduas and Jean-Paul RiopelleModern abstract art movement. The Automatistes movement and abstract expressionism

These inspirations are likely combined in a unique way to create her distinctive style, emphasizing emotional expression, which is characterized by spontaneous brushstrokes, beautifully blended colors, and a sense of energy and movement.
